The 74,009 sq. ft. building has unparalleled views of the Marin County hillsides, wrap around exterior deck areas, covered secure parking and a resplendent center atrium area with a retractable roof that allows for pleasant sun and natural elements to fill the common areas of the building on non-rainy days. As ordinance and law are now such that this type of building cannot be built on hilltops in Marin, One Thorndale stands alone, overlooking everything in its purview.
One Thorndale has served as a home to a variety of highly creative and successful companies, such as Disney, Sega of America, 2k Sports, and Commerce Clearing House.

Estimates to recreate this structure today come to over $82M in hard cost. From the 20,000 cubic yards of concrete to the seventy-nine miles of stainless steel post tension cable and an incredible location, this building will be a landmark for the lifetime of any organization.
Due to Thorndale’s superior construction, there’s a .2% chance of a partial loss due to earthquake or fire over the next 500 years according to Brown and Riding…Accordingly, the chances of a total loss over the next several centuries is de minimis.
Thorndale is recognized as one of the most well constructed office buildings north of the Golden Gate Bridge, an Architectural Landmark. Designed and built as The World Headquarters Building for Commerce Clearinghouse Publishing Company. Their goal was to make a “Statement to the World”.
